The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (2004)

The feature adaptation of Roger Lewis' book about the actor best remembered as Inspector Clouseau in the Pink Panther movies.

Thorough and brilliantly played analysis of a complicated and ultimately incomprehensible and tragic character.

The Damned

The Damned is an English gothic punk band formed in London in 1976.[1][2] They were the first punk rock band from the United Kingdom to release a single ("New Rose"), an album (Damned Damned Damned), to have a record on the UK music charts, and to tour the United States. The Damned later evolved into one of the forerunners of the gothic genre.[3]
They have incorporated numerous styles into their music and image, including: garage rock, psychedelic rock, cabaret, and the theatrical rock of Screaming Lord Sutch and Alex Harvey. Lead singer Dave Vanian's vocal style has been described as similar to a crooner.[4] The Damned have dissolved and reformed many times, with Vanian as the sole constant member. However, the lineups have always included either guitarist Captain Sensible and/or drummer Rat Scabies, who are both founding members. The current line-up includes Vanian, Captain Sensible, Monty Oxy Moron, Pinch and Stu West.

I know you’re cold but I’ve seen it before

I’d take a chance on the wine

Your starched white lips introvenous she drips

In fear of turning blind

Hair to grey and some guys say

Shows you’re ,shows you’re growing old

Do it again,i can’t explain

The light sure seems cold

Feel the pain it leaves no stain

Feel the pain the name of the game

Drop some blues,time to choose

Why your heart is st- st - stabbing

Bloody eyes can’t describe

The nature of your ha ha hacking

Back to front, the blade tastes blunt

In the safety of your bedroom

No desire to toudh the fire

There’s just a,just a sad obsession

Feel the pain,it leaves no stain, leaves no stain

Feel the pain, the name of the game

Feel the pain,it leaves no stain ....stain

Feel the pain, the name of the game

Feel the pain (6 times)

The Flaming Stars

The Flaming Stars, who spark a haunting swagger similar to Nick Cave and the Tindersticks, spent the next year wowing European audiences while honing a dark, guitar-driven sound.

Written on the Wind (1956)

An alcoholic playboy millionaire marries the woman secretly loved by his poor but hard-working best friend, who in turn is pursued by the husband's nymphomaniac sister.

It's pulp for sure, but meticulously made and played, a classic of its genre.
