New Stuff: Shipwreck

Got this book today, I love photos of shipwrecks, especially historical ones.

New Stuff: Phenomena

An Argento movie I so far haven't seen yet, should be an uncut version.

New Stuff: The Radio Dept.

This compilation got some great reviews, so I though it'd be a great introduction to check out this band.

Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky (2009)

Fictional love story between Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky.

Tastefully invented story, but with a bit too much emphasis on the cliche of the tormented artist.

William S. Burroughs: The Cat Inside

Note from early April, 1985: Ruski crouches down with a beaten look. He whines sadly through the room, skitters away from me and down into the basement with his little cries. The cry of a half-formed mutant creature...hope withering...the cry of that hope dying. Ruski is now crying in the basement. Whenever I get close to him he cries and moves away. The mutant that doesn't quite make it, the only one of his kind, the little lost voice always fainter.
Down in the basement looking for Ruski. Nothing and nobody there but the stink of death, the dank old stagnant air, the gun cabinet, targets covered with dust.

Inception (2010)

A spy's job consists of secretly extracting valuable commercial information from the unconscious mind of his targets while they are asleep and dreaming, and he is offered an almost impossible task: "inception", the planting of an idea into a target's subconscious.

A fascinating idea professionally made, but watered down to a standard action thriller with a simultaneous quadruple climax.
