The Odessa File (1974)

After reading the diary of an elderly Jewish man who committed suicide, a freelance journalist begins to investigate the alleged sighting of a former SS-Captain.

Suspenseful and well-made Nazi conspirancy thriller typical of its age, but still quite watchable.

Halliwell**: "Elaborate but uninvolving suspenser with several excellent sequences and a let-down climax."

Maltin**1/2: "Voight carries this plodding adaptation...OK time killer, no more."
