Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967)

A wealthy, liberal couple's attitudes are challenged when their daughter brings home a fiancé who is black.

A dodgy topic is handled with the utmost care and taste and an underchallenged cast and has dated quite badly by now.

Halliwell**: "The problem picture that isn't really, since everyone is so nice and the prospective bridegroom is so eligible. It looks like a photographer play, but isn't based on one; the set is unconvincing; but the acting is a dream."

Maltin***: "Glossy tale...Fluff is given strength by Oscar-winning Hepburn and Tracy in his last film appearance."
