Tangled (2010)

The magically long-haired Rapunzel has spent her entire life in a tower, but now that a runaway thief has stumbled upon her, she is about to discover the world for the first time, and who she really is.

Routinely professionally made and entertaining Walt Disney animation.

New Stuff: The Necks

I first heard of the Necks, an Australian band, recommended by Michael Gira on his Facebook page, I was instantly thrilled.

New Stuff: Poly Styrene R.I.P.

Poly Styrene, together with Lora Logic, were idols to me in my youth. This album was released on April 15, Poly died 10 days later. I would have bought the album in any case, now it feels awkward listening to her last creative efforts.

Dragon Fighter (2003)

Workers in an underground lab fight for their lives against a cloned dragon they created.

Lackluster and not even risible direct-to video monster (in this case: dragon) movie.
