Eragon (2006)

In his homeland of Alagaesia, a farm boy happens upon a dragon's egg -- a discovery that leads him on a predestined journey where he realized he's the one person who can defend his home against an evil king.

Fairly entertaining fantasy, nice touch with the 'nice' (female) dragon.

AVPR: Aliens vs Predator - Requiem (2007)

Warring alien and predator races descend on a small town, where unsuspecting residents must band together for any chance of survival.

A disappointing mess even for die-hard fans of the sub-genre.

On second viewing not really any better...

David Copperfield (1935)

The Personal History, Adventures, Experience and Observation of David Copperfield the Younger of Blunderstone Rookery (Which He Never Meant to Publish on Any Account).

Wonderfully crafted classic adaptation of Charles Dickens' novel.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)

The former Fellowship of the Ring prepare for the final battle for Middle Earth, while Frodo & Sam approach Mount Doom to destroy the One Ring.
Fantastic conclusion of the trilogy with one incredible battle scene and an overlong ending.
