Of course, the Walker Brothers were extremely successful in the 60s (almost like the Beatles) - until lead singer Scott Walker started changing direction left the band and turned into an acclaimed - but rarely heard - avantgarde songwriter. Nite Flights was their last album and the first four songs ("The Electrician" is one of them) were penned by Scott and gave a strong notion of the direction his music would take over the next decades. These songs are more like dark electronic soundscapes sounding like the music you'd be hearing in a not too distant dystopia. Certainly, I'll be presenting more of Scott Walker's work over time.
