The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017)

A housewife in the 1950s decides to become a stand-up comic.

Period comedy series with a heavily pendulous plot is wonderfully staged, has many humorous moments, but entertains mainly due to Rachel Brosnahan's performance - which is truly marvelous.
