The Darkest Dawn (2016)
The story of two sisters, as Britain descends into an alien apocalypse.
OK 'found-footage' doomsday thriller makes the best of its low budget, but otherwise not quite memorable.
The Dig (2021)
An archaeologist embarks on the historically important excavation of Sutton Hoo in 1938.
Excellent period production with a stellar cast is good to watch and tells a heart-felt story of an overlooked scientist, but unfortunately never quite explains the true historical importance of the depicted discovery.
