While in Dublin I saw that there was a matinee performance of Happy Days announced at the Samuel Beckett Center in Trinity Collgege. I wanted to be prepared, so I got this little edition of the play and read it in beforehand. However, when I got to the center I noticed that the announcement was no longer on the bulletin board, the theater doors were open and all I saw was a stage in disarray and a lot of people working on the set. I guess the performance was called off.
