Bande à part (1964)

This was the first Godard movie I ever saw, so it has a certain relevance to me personally. At the time I was very enthusiastic, and still: this movie is quite different as is most often the case with this director's work.

One strange feature is the fact that the actors are grown-ups playing immature youngster characters, it's quite distracting, but that probably was Godard's intention. And although Anna Karina is beautiful as ever, it really seems silly to see her dressing and acting as if she were a schoolgirl.
