First Lines: Truman Capote - In Cold Blood

The village of Holcomb stands on the high wheat plains of western Kansas, a lonesome area that other Kansans call 'out there'.

In Cold Blood (1967)

After a botched robbery results in the brutal murder of a rural family, two drifters elude police, in the end coming to terms with their own mortality and the repercussions of their vile atrocity.

Remarkably accurate adaptation of the Truman Capote classic. Very detailed and in-depth analysis of the criminals involved without offering any simple explanations.
