Land of the Dead (2005)

The living dead have taken over the world, and the last humans live in a walled city to protect themselves as they come to grips with the situation.

Embedded in another imaginative claustrophobic setting the plot is too multifaceted and hardly focused on the implications of this future vision.

Maltin **1/2: "Romero's fourth walking dead movie is well produced and suspenseful, with a dose of social satire and a standout performance by Leguizamo...but we've seen it all before, and it never really catches fire."

Ginostra (2002)

An FBI Agent from America and his bride and young child travel to the Sicilian island of Ginostra to solve the murder of a key witness.

Wonderfully set on the Sicilian islands and obviously ambitious mafia thriller, but with a meandering and drifting plot which leaves the actors at a loss most of the time.
