First Lines: William Burroughs - The Naked Lunch
Il conquistatore di Atlantide (1965)
aka
Conqueror of Atlantis USA
Kampf um Atlantis Germany (DVD title)
Kingdom in the Sand UK
After a nightly assault Princess Virna disappears, and Hercules starts to search her and finally finds her in Atlantis where she has been selected to become the new heires after the current Queen Ming.
Silly plot and risible performances, but this fantasy flic does have some spectacular costumes and settings.

William S. Burroughs: The Cat Inside
Ruski hated the little cats. He was the cute little cat. They were interlopers. The one time I slapped Ruski was for attacking one of the kittens, and I have seen the mother drive him out of the barn when the kittens were there. And Ruski was terrified of Horatio. One evening on the back porch Horatio walked over to Ruski. (He wasn't Ruski then. I didn't yet know he was a Russian Blue. I called him Smoky.) He walked over in a casual but determined manner and lit into Smoke, who ran under the table.

Miniatures #21
Before I started running cinemas my pals and I were avid record collectors. We had our own mail order, traveled around Europe (especially England) to find rare stuff and organized regular exchange markets with collectors coming from all over Germany. Of course, you got to know a lot of people and soon you knew what they were searching for.
One day at one of the markets a fanatic collector of Rolling Stones records came to our booth and asked about something completely different. I helped him out, then asked him about his Stones collecting. "Nope, I'm out of that for good. After 70 live versions of Honky Tonk Woman I realized that I must be out of my mind."
