First Lines: Honoré De Balzac - The Black Sheep
In the year 1892 the townsfolk of Issoudun were fortunate enough to have a doctor of the name of Rouget who had the reputation of being an extremely wily man.
Cropsey (2009)
Realizing the urban legend of their youth has actually come true; two filmmakers delve into the mystery surrounding five missing children and the real-life boogeyman linked to their disappearances.
Creepy true crime documentary certainly adds some horror elements to an already disturbing and ambiguous case; good, but slightly exploitative.

Holy Hell (2016)
An inside look at Buddhafield, a West Hollywood cult formed by a charismatic teacher in the 1980s that eventually imploded.
A bit haphazard documentary, maybe due to the fact that the director was an ex-member (and its "propaganda minister"), does give a glimpse into the surreal cult community, but also gives room to those who still defend its existence.
