Bonnie Scotland (1935)

Stan and Ollie mistakenly enlist in the army and find themselves posted to the Northwest Frontier in India on a dangerous mission.

Quite mediocre comedy only enhanced in such moments, when the comic duo have freedom for some genial interactions.

Halliwell*: "Generally disappointing star comedy which still contains excellent sequences when it is not vainly trying to preserve interest in a boring plot. An obvious parody of Lives of a Bengal Dancer.., released earlier that year; Scotland has almost nothing to do with it."
