Sexy Beast (2000)
A brutal gangster recruits a "retired" safecracker for one last job, but it goes badly for both of them.
Basically this is an offbeat psychological drama, but Ben Kingsley makes it quite an unusual experience.
The Prophet's Game (1999)
A retired detective gets a postcard from the Prophet, a serial killer he had tracked down and killed years before, but then the game starts all over again.
A quite lame serial killer drama, and Dennis Hopper can't save it.

Terrified (1963)
A masked lunatic kills off people in a haunted ghost town.
You could call it a night out at the ghost town with the local psycho out for game. Lew Landers is an old routinier since the silent age and should have known better.
Max Payne (2008)
Coming together to solve a series of murders in New York City are a police detective whose family was slain as part of a conspiracy and an assassin out to avenge her sister's death.
I know nothing about the video game this movie is based on, but the plot is thoroughly predictable. The movie does have some visual style, though.
