Q & A (1990)

A young district attorney seeking to prove a case against a corrupt police detective encounters a former lover and her new protector.

Typical Sidney Lumet drama depicting a bleak view of the justice system, superior to similar thrillers concerning execution, performances and the complexity of the message.

Irina Vodolazova

Twilight (2008)

A teenage girl risks everything when she falls in love with a vampire.

Watchable teenage vampire romance competently aimed at a juvenile female audience, but don't expect anything more than that.

By the way: every time I see such a high school flic, I'm so glad I never had to attend that in the United States.

Head, Heart

Heart weeps.
Head tries to help heart.
Head tells heart how it is, again:
You will lose the ones you love. They will all go. But even the earth will go, someday.
Heart feels better, then.
But the words of head do not remain long in the ears of heart.
Heart is so new to this.
I want them back, says heart.
Head is all that heart has.
Help, head. Help heart.
