New Stuff: Carpenters
This is the album I grew up with, I still have the LP, but thought I'd need it on cd as well.
Under Suspicion (1991)
In 1959 Brighton, disgraced cop turned private detective Tony Aaron works largely on falsifying adulteries for use as evidence in divorce cases and comes under suspicion, when his wife and one of his clients is murdered.
Interesting Noirish crime thriller with a convoluted plot and some surprises.
New Stuff: Eels
I've been collecting Eels for quite a while now and I'm looking forward to listening to their new album.
Red Heat (1988)
A Russian policeman is sent after a Russian drug dealer who has escaped to the United States and is awaiting extradition in Chicago.
Routinely made action thriller with only some occasional humor.
