Hush (2008)

A young couple on a motorway journey are drawn into a game of cat and mouse with a truck driver following a near accident.

Suspenseful and fairly original horror thriller, although it shows that this was obviously produced directly for the home movie audience.

Vanishing on 7th Street (2010)

The population of Detroit has almost completely disappeared, but a few remain, and as daylight disappears they realize that the Dark is coming for them.

Despite an interesting premise and the director's outstanding previous achievements this doomsday/ghost movie is halfheartedly made and fails to excite.

Maltin **: "Arty, low-budget apocalyptic puzzler is moody but murky and talky, with a less-than-satisfying ending."

Over the Hedge (2006)

A scheming raccoon fools a mismatched family of forest creatures into helping him repay a debt of food, by invading the new suburban sprawl that popped up while they were hibernating.

Entertaining animated movie with likable animal characters and less so the human beings.

Maltin ***: "Funny CG-animated feature...Simple storyline is fleshed out with funny gags, action set pieces, and character moments."
