First Lines: Ellis Peters - The Leper of Saint Giles
Brother Cadfael set out from the gatehouse, that Monday afternoon in October, in the year 1139, darkly convinced that something ominous would have happened before he re-entered the great court, though he had no reason to suppose that he would be absent more than an hour or so.
New Stuff: Last Exit
I saw last Exit live in concert twice; they were a favourite band of mine, but never had any of their albums. It's about time, I thought.
Horrible Bosses (2011)
Three friends conspire to murder their awful bosses when they realize they are standing in the way of their happiness.
A nice premise for an offbeat comedy, but this one is disappointedly haphazard, at times vulgar and quite unfunny.
Maltin**1/2: "Sporadicaaly funny comedy has some solid laughs as well as the kind of raunchiness we've come to expect in the post-HANGOVER era."
