Suddenly feeling that something is missing from her life, a woman hitches her way toward Venice, calling her husband, a bathroom fixture salesman, only occasionally to tell him that she is taking her own short vacation and that he will have to take care of the house and their two teenage sons.
Mildly amusing Italian romantic comedy with 2 great central performances. Bruno Ganz' Teutonic Italian phrasings must be a thrill for an Italian audience.
