Suddenly (1954)

In the city of Suddenly, three gangsters trap a family in their own house, on the top of a hill nearby the railroad station, with the intention of killing the president of the USA.

Despite a promising premise the movie is quite uneven and has a dubious message, but Frank Sinatra's performance is very good as a psychopath assassin.

Halliwell *: "Moderately effective minor suspenser with rather too much psychological chat."

Maltin ***1/2: "White-knuckle thriller...with Sinatra excellent in thoroughly detestable role; rest of cast equally fine."
