In the winter of 1946, in Leningrad, a group of German prisoners of war are sent to a female transit camp by a cruel Russian commander.
Ambitious and atmospheric attempt on a difficult political topic, but marred by its melodramatic elements and utilizing cliches of the prison camp movie genre.
