Franz Xavier von Schönwerth collected tales from the Upper Palatine at the same time (and in the same manner) as the Brothers Grimm. Only recently a huge collection of about previously unknown 400 fairy tales were found in an archive here in Regensburg, a literary sensation. This is the first selection from this find.
