A doctor, scientist, organist, and biblical scholar, Dr. Anton Phibes, seeks revenge on the nine doctors he considers responsible for his wife's death.
Entertaining and gory tongue-in cheek horror movie with its star obviously enjoying himself.
Halliwell (no star): "Brisk but uninspired treatments of a promising theme, with more unintended nastiness than intended laughs. Some good moments and interesting low-budget thirties sets."
