Killer's Kiss (1955)

As a man waits at a train station for his girl, he tells us about the recent past and how met her and saved her and his life.

Based on a simple, but effective noir plot this early attempt by Stanley Kubrick already showcases his talent for unconventional storytelling, surprising details and brilliant (black-and-white) photogrpahy.

Halliwell (no star): "Tedious low-budget thriller which first brought its director into notice."

Maltin**: "Interesting early Kubrick: the inspiration for the film-within-a-film STRANGERS KISS."
