Ethereal pop band the Pale Saints formed in Leeds, England, in 1987. Unfortunately, they only released three albums with the label 4AD. They were loosely labeled as shoegaze and lisening to their you can understand why. I play their albums quite often, especially when I have visitors, since their sound is agreeable to most of my friends, despite that they are not so broadly known of.
