Amid a revolution in a South American mining outpost, a band of fugitives are forced to flee for their lives into the jungle.
Although a quite entertaining conventional adventure movie on the surface, Bunuel manages to create a subplot of moral ambiguities and to set many minimal touches of surreal imagery.
