Containerhead is a Regensburg post-rock band of seven musicians who all are members of other local bands as well. However, this band is obviously not merely a simple side project as they play very accomplished Tortoise-inspired compositions. Their performance at the Ostentor cinema was an inspired, thrilling, no-nonsense hour of inventive, complex, but never pretentious music. Definitely, obe of the best bands in town, and I'll certainly will want to see them again I already have their two CDs).
