Shoot to Kill (1988)

When a cunning murderer vanishes into the rugged mountains of the Pacific Northwest, the pursuing FBI agent must exchange familiar city streets for unknown wilderness trails.

Thriller turned to wilderness drama has its moments and is quite suspenseful, but seems datedby today's standards.

Halliwell (no star): "Moderately suspenseful, though unmemorable thriller."

Maltin**1/2: "Slick but highly improbable tale strains credibility, but keeps its grip thanks mostly to a riveting Poitier (his first starring role in ten years)."
