Although I knew her as a member of Henry Cow and their side projects, I truly became a fan of her music, when I saw the movie The Gold Diggers in 1983. Her soundtrack is a mesmerizing work of fragile beauty. From then on I was collecting her music, but strangely sometime in the 90s she stopped releasing any new work. Now we know why.
